Jimmy Levy - Take The Lead (CCM)

Jimmy Levy has released a Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) track called Take The Lead.

This song is amazingly beautiful and gives you a strong sense of belonging. It feels different, almost as if it is implanted in your soul and stays with you throughout the day. I felt goosebumps as I played it back to back. Our hearts break for everyone who is in pain, especially the children who are in vulnerable circumstances. We are truly living in difficult and dangerous times, and we need prayer and unity now more than ever.Jimmy Levy - Take The Lead

Lyrics:

We've lived in a lie
Ever since the formula bottle
Desensitized everything we knew
About our problems
And now we all roaming the land
Saying
'How did this big lie start?'
It's time to put our faith in him
Cause it's gone too far
Oh I believe he died for me
And for everyone
Anything can be achieved
When you count on God

Who's gonna take the lead by putting their life on the line?
Whos gonna show the children what is wrong and what is right?
Who's gonna take the lead by putting their life on the line?
Who's gonna show the children what is wrong and what is right?

The blood of Christ washes every sin by minute
The sheep are blind all because mind is a prison
And now their all roaming the land saying
'How did this big lie start?'
It's time they put their faith in him cause it's gone too far
Oh I believe he died for me
And for everyone
Anything can be achieved
When you count on God.

Who's gonna take the lead by putting their life on the line?
Whos gonna show the children what is wrong and what is right?
Who's gonna take the lead by putting their life on the line?
Whos gonna show the children what is wrong and what is right?

Jesus
Yeshua
Calling on your name
Calling on your name
Jesus
Yeshua
Calling on your name
Calling on your name

Who's gonna take the lead by putting their life on the line?
Whos gonna show the children what is wrong and what is right?
He's gonna take the lead
He put his life on the line
He's gonna show the children what is wrong and what is right
He's gonna take the lead
He put his life on the line
He's gonna show the children what is wrong and what is right
What is right
What is right
Jesus will show them

'Lonely Dirt Road' by Dax: A Journey to Solitude and God

Dax's 'Lonely Dirt Road' is a conversation that Dax has with himself and God. Dax shares his journey of turning mental health walks into healing solitary drives. As you listen, you can almost feel the cruise, where it's just you, your thoughts, and God.  The chorus is so relatable: 'When I need space, that's where I go, a place to escape that nobody knows.' What do you do when life's pressures stack high? Do you also have a space where you can let go? That lonely dirt road that Dax sings about symbolizes solitude, but it is also an incredible opportunity for connecting with God.  Dax's honesty is raw and relatable. 'I didn't want my family to see me cry… dealing with the pressure of trying to provide.' There are times when we all put on a smile to hide how challenging situations may be. Like his father, Dax says that he finds peace on this lonely road, where challenges become opportunities to grow. This shows the core of our faith: that...

"You Came And Found Me" by Recovered Crown: A Journey from Pain to Purpose

"You Came And Found Me" by Recovered Crown is about the healing God brought after having been trapped in a cycle of deeply hurtful relationships for years and the strength she found to truly step into her calling. She experienced harmful relationships as a child and as an adult, and reached a point where she was completely exhausted. "I didn't know how much of myself I had lost trying to survive," she shares. "But even in the darkest moments, God never stopped pursuing me."   The song reflects the change God brought into her life: "In a desperate state, in a broken place // You came and found me." It's not only a song for anyone who has been in similar situations but also for anyone who feels abandoned or even voiceless. There is always hope, "You're all that I need and so much more." It's God who truly heals, and He is always within your reach, no matter how bad the situation looks: "Hallelujah, I am restored in...

"None Like You" by Salt: Surrendering to the Pursuit of His Love

"None Like You" by Salt is a powerful song about the wonder and holiness of God, written by the Southern California duo Brian Albright and Kadi Zabka. The song has a powerful melody, honest lyrics, and encourages us to pause regularly to worship Him, and focus on His presence.  It's so easy to get distracted by the chaos of life, a chaos that can shout louder than our longing for His presence and distract us from realizing that His love and grace for us is unique. Step away from those distractions and realize that nothing else compares to what He gives us. "I won't go searching any longer // All that I need is what you're offering me." Salt describes His love as "a kind of love that's like no other,"  and it's a kind of love that cannot be found in 'the world'. Sadly, it's not just the chaos of the world around us that distracts, we also experience chaos in our lives, felt in our heart and mind, and it distracts us from rea...
