Linnea Näslund wrote this song in desperation for God's comfort and healing, as she struggles with chronic pain. Despite praying for healing for many years, she continues to trust in God, knowing that one day she will be free from pain. The song was also inspired by her grandma, who was suffering from Alzheimer's and approaching the end of her life. Näslund found comfort in the thought that her grandma would one day be free from pain and suffering, and that she would be with Jesus. Even as her grandma lost her speech and memory, she continued to praise and call out to her Savior. After Näslund's grandma passed away, the song helped her maintain hope and find comfort in the thought that her grandma was finally free from sickness and with Jesus. Through this song, Näslund hopes to share the message of Jesus with others and bring hope to believers in Christ.
