Project of Love - Isaiah 41 - Hold You Up (CCM)

We're excited to introduce you to a stunning and uplifting song that we believe is a great start to 2023. It is a song by Project of Love called 'Isaiah 41 - Hold You Up.'

Project of Love - Isaiah 41 - Hold You UpAs the artist shared with us, this song was born out of calling that God placed in the artists' heart to release a song each week. Up until then he had been writing and recording these Bible verses in solitude. Just himself, God, and the Bible. The start of every day, the end of every day. The artist writes: 'And I loved it. I've never felt more close to my Father than in those days.'

He wasn't keen on going public with this. What would people say, how would they respond to these songs? It felt like he was going to share his most intimate moments with God, with the world.

But through it all, he held onto the truth of Isaiah 41, that God has chosen him and is with him, strengthening and helping him, and holding him up with His victorious right hand.

The lyrics of this song are powerful words of encouragement are a reminder that no matter what challenges we may face, God is with us, loving us and encouraging us. And as we draw close to Him and let Him do the talking for us, we can find strength and hope in His presence.

So if you're feeling discouraged or uncertain today, let this song be a reminder to turn to God and let His love and encouragement lift you up. Turn up the volume and let Project of Love's words and music bring you hope and strength. Here's 'Isaiah 41 - Hold You Up' by Project of Love.

ISAIAH 41 – HOLD YOU UP

9. For I have chosen you.

10. Don’t be afraid, for I am with you.
Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you.
I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.

12. Those who attack you
will come to nothing.

13. For I hold you by your right hand.

'Lonely Dirt Road' by Dax: A Journey to Solitude and God

Dax's 'Lonely Dirt Road' is a conversation that Dax has with himself and God. Dax shares his journey of turning mental health walks into healing solitary drives. As you listen, you can almost feel the cruise, where it's just you, your thoughts, and God.  The chorus is so relatable: 'When I need space, that's where I go, a place to escape that nobody knows.' What do you do when life's pressures stack high? Do you also have a space where you can let go? That lonely dirt road that Dax sings about symbolizes solitude, but it is also an incredible opportunity for connecting with God.  Dax's honesty is raw and relatable. 'I didn't want my family to see me cry… dealing with the pressure of trying to provide.' There are times when we all put on a smile to hide how challenging situations may be. Like his father, Dax says that he finds peace on this lonely road, where challenges become opportunities to grow. This shows the core of our faith: that...

"You Came And Found Me" by Recovered Crown: A Journey from Pain to Purpose

"You Came And Found Me" by Recovered Crown is about the healing God brought after having been trapped in a cycle of deeply hurtful relationships for years and the strength she found to truly step into her calling. She experienced harmful relationships as a child and as an adult, and reached a point where she was completely exhausted. "I didn't know how much of myself I had lost trying to survive," she shares. "But even in the darkest moments, God never stopped pursuing me."   The song reflects the change God brought into her life: "In a desperate state, in a broken place // You came and found me." It's not only a song for anyone who has been in similar situations but also for anyone who feels abandoned or even voiceless. There is always hope, "You're all that I need and so much more." It's God who truly heals, and He is always within your reach, no matter how bad the situation looks: "Hallelujah, I am restored in...

"None Like You" by Salt: Surrendering to the Pursuit of His Love

"None Like You" by Salt is a powerful song about the wonder and holiness of God, written by the Southern California duo Brian Albright and Kadi Zabka. The song has a powerful melody, honest lyrics, and encourages us to pause regularly to worship Him, and focus on His presence.  It's so easy to get distracted by the chaos of life, a chaos that can shout louder than our longing for His presence and distract us from realizing that His love and grace for us is unique. Step away from those distractions and realize that nothing else compares to what He gives us. "I won't go searching any longer // All that I need is what you're offering me." Salt describes His love as "a kind of love that's like no other,"  and it's a kind of love that cannot be found in 'the world'. Sadly, it's not just the chaos of the world around us that distracts, we also experience chaos in our lives, felt in our heart and mind, and it distracts us from rea...
