Do you know God, or just know about Him? We tend to treat prayer like a fire extinguisher — like something we only break out in case of an emergency. Rayford wrote “Falling in Love” after asking himself how it makes God feel when we haven’t spent anytime with him. Just sitting down with Him. Not to ask for anything. Just to be near to Him.  The song reminds us that relationships grow the more it’s tended. Your open hands can become someone else’s blessing!   Tomorrow has a way of feeling heavier than it should. Gresha Schuilling’s song “All Sufficiency” pushes back against that weight with a simple but bold claim: your Father already knows what you’ll need, and grace is already waiting where you’re headed. The song opens with a decision to stop chasing what hasn’t already happened —  “I don’t have to chase tomorrow // My Father knows what I will need.” That’s not passive thinking. That’s confidence rooted in a true Provider who never runs dry.  Look at how the lyrics describe His supply for you: seed for sowing, multiplying the store, bread for eating, then more seed for giving freely. Nothing stops God. “I am blessed to be a blessing // I am rich to freely give”  — that line reframes what you’ve been given. Joy doesn’t cancel pain — it outlasts it.  Every difficult season carries a hidden promise: it will end. In his song “New Season”, Israel Ojulari sings about that truth. The message of the song draws straight from Psalm 30:5 —  “weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning.” Israel Ojulari don’t dress up the pain. “It looks so dark now, there seems no way out,” the he admits, naming the exhaustion that so many people are carry quietly. Then it pivots, “Joy is coming in the morning time.” This isn’t maybe, eventually, or someday. Joy is coming!  Think about Job for a moment (Job ch. 2–42). Job lost nearly everything — his health, his family, his sense of stability. But God didn’t leave him there. He restored what was broken and multiplied what remained (Job 42:10). Your worth was never up for negotiation.  Grace Frances wrote “Clothed With Dignity” from a place most of us recognize (in some form or other) but will rarely admit out loud. She carried old regrets like a second skin, calling herself names that her past mistakes didn’t deserve. “I demonize the girl I was, when she was just trying to survive,” she sings, and that line hurts. Haven’t we all judged ourselves for choices that we made while simply trying to get through the day? What would it feel like to stop running from Love? Chapels wrote “Lost In Your Love” to feel like being a kid again — dancing without overthinking it, caught up in something joyful, and remembering how simple it can be to just enjoy His presence. That’s a strange way to describe faith, isn’t it? Most people associate religion with a way of life that is heavy, full of rules and quiet rooms. But listen to the opening lines of this song: “There was a moment that you wrecked my life and kept my life from fallin’.” Something broke apart so that something better could hold it together. Chapels describes a heart that turned “from stone,” and a sudden ability to breathe. Ask yourself, what can change a person that fast?  The truth is that only one thing does. The  Scriptures call it  “being found .”  The line “I once was lost but now I’m found” reminds us of a story that Jesus told about a father who ran to meet his returning son before the boy could even finish his apolo...

What if you truly meant “consume me” today? “Consume Me” by Chad Jackson poses a question that stops you in your tracks… Instead of just saying or singing “consume me”, what if we really meant it? Not the polite version of surrender, not the Sunday-morning version we recite out of habit or sing because it’s part of a song’s lyrics. What if we meant it for real? Chad Jackson built his song around a simple confession —  “I give my all, my everything, I need You more each day”  — and that line does something. It strips away the performance and asks for total honesty instead.  The first verse of the song emphasizes that God notices everything: “there’s never a broken heart that you don’t see,” “never a tear that falls that you don’t keep.” That kind of attention changes how you approach Him. Can you believe without having all the answers? Some people wait at the edge of faith for years, arms crossed, waiting to feel ready. “Just Believe” was written by For Him for exactly that person — the one who wants to trust Jesus but still carries a list of questions. The song grew out of that in-between space, where doubt and faith sit side-by-side and neither one of them wins outright. Gritty Southern-rock guitars carry lyrics that ask a two-thousand-year-old question: “Could Love have worn a human face?” The answer to that question brings purpose and comfort to our lives. The song doesn’t demand certainty before you move.
