Remember the years when we had artists talk about their newest release in our "New Releases Show" on the radio?

The good news is.... those precious listening moments are coming back!

We are starting up a podcast series called: "Christian Music Now". In each episode, we will feature a CCM / CEDM artist with their newest release. You not only hear the artist talk about their release, but you also get a nice preview of the track.

What makes this podcast special is that each episode offers you a peek into the lives of the artists you hear on the radio and the major music streaming services.

So, watch this space, follow our podcasts and maybe we can introduce you to some new artists as well.

"Man I Used To Be" by Dax: Half the Weight, Double the Faith

"Man I Used To Be" by Dax is a very personal song. Dax had promised himself that he wouldn't release new music until he'd stayed sober for six months, the time he needed to get his priorities straight and clear his mind. "Man I Used To Be" is the sound of his first clean breath, life with God by his side. Dax lays it bare: "Trials and tribulations, all my past trauma," he acknowledges, along with "generational curses from daddy and mama," and the "addictions that clouded my eyes." "Sometime" by Robert Peterson and The Crusade: God always finds us

(by Jasper Tan) In the tradition of our favorite CCM rock anthems from the 90's and early 2000's (the Jars of Clay and Vertical Horizon come to mind), Robert Peterson and The Crusade's recently released single, called "Sometime," is a joyful experience to listen to. This is a rock song that speaks about waiting and being prepared for the right moment to be called by Jesus. It comes from a place where the miracle and the sudden arrival of God in our lives are always unpredictable. But when we are ready, God will find us. The lyricism of the song is written in such a way that there are double meanings and vague messages. I understand the artistic decision to write this in such a manner. I always believe that evangelism isn't always straightforward, and there is definitely not a one-size-fits-all approach.
