The Two Fake Blondes share: "Battle Cry' came to us during a time of fasting while Hannah was experiencing medical difficulties, a song we really believed would bring people hope & empower them during times of difficulty like it did for us. We were so excited when Neon Feather wanted to get involved with a remix and he created an incredible remix. He's someone we've looked up to for a long time & having him be a part of this is so special!"

Dax had promised himself that he wouldn't release new music until he'd stayed sober for six months, the time he needed to get his priorities straight and clear his mind. This is a rock song that speaks about waiting and being prepared for the right moment to be called by Jesus. It comes from a place where the miracle and the sudden arrival of God in our lives are always unpredictable. But when we are ready, God will find us.
