'Here I Am' by Shalah Marie: Echoes of Redemption in Song


Shalah Marie lays her soul bare in 'Here I Am,' a powerful and relatable song about the brokenness that we all can face in life. Maybe you've also been there? On the floor, feeling empty and alone, wondering if there's a way out of this situation. There is a way out! It is good to surrender to Him, but we also need to keep our eyes open! How often do we forget to watch and witness His hand in our trials and troubles? 

'… when I feel like I am sinking // There You are // Holding my hand through it all,' Shalah sings. That's God's promise in action! Always there for us, our guide in life's storms, the unshakable rock beneath our feet.

"Dancing On Water" by Mary Oz: When grief has no power over Hope

If there was one CCM artist from the Philippines who deserves to be heard on a global scale, then my vote belongs to Mary.  Her latest single, "Dancing On Water" (which is a part of her forthcoming album), is a pure acoustic folk/rock song that talks about breakthroughs from grief.
