Luke Johns Remix of Broken Chalice's "Fallen Walls": Tearing Down Walls With His Power


Luke John created a great remix of "Fallen Walls" by Broken Chalice. This remix stays true to the original message of faith and triumph. The backstory of the song explains that we need to look beyond the lies and fear, because there is always hope. "The situation in front of you isn't the end of the story," because God's power shatters every barrier!

Doubt creeps into our lives, and it tends to grow out of proportion, unchecked, "But just in time, Lord, you remind // My battered heart to say." The victory is already decided, it's just that the enemy doesn't realize it yet, "Tell that to the fallen walls // Around my enemy's camp."

And if we still have doubts, we are given more examples where God made the impossible possible, "the giant lion // Dead by a shepherd's hand" and "the stone // That tried to keep him in his tomb." You see, faith overcomes even the toughest battles! "Face to face with my accuser // Throwing stones at me to try and tear me down," she sings, and adds, "I'm shielded by His promise." 

The lyrics and the energy of the track dare us to abandon defeat and choose unwavering trust in God. No deception or fear is mightier than God!

'Lonely Dirt Road' by Dax: A Journey to Solitude and God

Dax's 'Lonely Dirt Road' is a conversation that Dax has with himself and God. Dax shares his journey of turning mental health walks into healing solitary drives. "Heartbeat" by Laura Leighe - Dancing in Worship

Here's a song that's more or less been stuck in my head since I heard it. It's called 'Heartbeat' by Laura Leighe and is what Laura calls a "reggaeton-influenced Christian pop duet" that's all about surrendering to God's rhythm and dancing in worship, no matter what life throws your way.  The lyrics remind me of two scriptures: "Praise him with timbrel and dancing, praise him with the strings and pipe."  - Psalm 150:4 (NIV) and "Wearing a linen ephod, David was dancing before the Lord with all his might."  - 2 Samuel 6:14 (NIV). Maybe I'm a bit prejudiced because the song reminds us of our own thoughts when we founded "Christian Dance" years ago and picked a name. Focusing on music that allows us to feel joy and causes us (our hearts) to dance for God, a pure form of worship that we know is pleasing to God.
