"Praise My Way Through" by Chris Sarver: A powerful song that brings resilience in Faith, and Hope amidst the hopelessness.

Chris Sarver's latest single Praise My Way Through is part collaborative and part personal cathartic experience. I (Jasper) personally know Chris, and I'm familiar with his previous works, as well as the personal experience of fellow Christian singer-songwriter Maria Segerholm, to which Chris has drawn inspiration for this song. At that time, Maria declared that in her trying times, she'll just have to Praise her way through. It's amazing to know the personal story behind the creation of this song. And I could say that this perhaps is Chris' best song to date. Chris is a very much underrated Independent Christian Artist who always wears his heart on his sleeve for each song that he sings. And nothing has been more heartfelt than this song that he has written. Each note and soaring melody that accompanies the words of this song takes a life of its own, synchronizing with a powerful message of hope amidst the hopelessness.

Chris Sarver - Praise My Way ThroughAs Chris shares, the song is about trusting God when you can't fully trust your own thoughts. About walking through foggy seasons, emotional flat lines, and learning to lean on Him when your chemistry won't cooperate. It's humbling. It's exhausting. And it's real. Chris invites us to keep a firmer foundation in our Faith in God. That even if we are stuck in the uncertainties of life, we'll just have to Praise our way through. Because God is good. Because He keeps His promises. Because even in the waiting, He is still faithful. And we have Maria's story as a living testimony of God's promise to us. It is always a good experience to be able to share our faith with another. To draw strength from a fellow Christian, wherein during our personal trials, we are able to lift each other up… and grow together in our Faith.

"Man I Used To Be" by Dax: Half the Weight, Double the Faith

"Man I Used To Be" by Dax is a very personal song. Dax had promised himself that he wouldn't release new music until he'd stayed sober for six months, the time he needed to get his priorities straight and clear his mind. "Man I Used To Be" is the sound of his first clean breath, life with God by his side. Dax lays it bare: "Trials and tribulations, all my past trauma," he acknowledges, along with "generational curses from daddy and mama," and the "addictions that clouded my eyes." The honesty about his past struggles makes the message of this song so relatable and powerful.  The chorus is about the moment that the script was flipped, "I'm half the man I used to be." Not a broken man, but a man who has been freed from the burdens that weren't his to carry and kept him from God. "I don't ever chase, I got God," declaring that his new identity is anchored in faith. It's a shrug and a testimo...

"Praise You In The Morning" by Taylor Pride: Waking up to the sound of Worship

(by Jasper Tan) Taylor Pride's latest single, "Praise You In The Morning" is an uplifting song that is a powerful reminder of God's faithfulness in different seasons and circumstances. The song is an acknowledgement that even if we are facing hardships and difficulties, we should still continue to praise God, for he is our provider and protector. And that he has promised to redeem us in his perfect time. The song follows an established style of Taylor's "heart-on-your-sleeve" type of worship song, drawing inspiration for this song's music from the likes of Cody Carnes and Phil Wickham's songs, the likes of which are simple with an easy-to-sing chorus layered by joyful sounds. The lyrics serve as a prayer for those in the "desert seasons," suggesting that praise is a choice made even in times of uncertainty with our faith. The song uses the transition from night to day as a metaphor for moving from weeping to hope. It is a modern worship...

"Your Love" by Kevin Winebarger - When Mercy Becomes Your Identity

Kevin Winebarger teamed up with Joshua Frerichs and Benji Cowart to create this beautiful song. "Your Love" tackles that discouraging voice we all hear from time to time, the one that whispers that we're not enough and that we are defined by our past. "Once a liar, always a liar," and all kinds of variations along this same line of thought. This song isn't about wallowing in shame. "Your Love" is a celebration of the grace that changes everything.  The opening lines hit hard: "I could believe that I'm not enough // It's clear to see I don't measure up." Yep, we've all been there! But this isn't how God want us to be defined… He loved us first! "It's just what You've done // Because of Your love." That's the heart of everything.  Kevin places the change the God brings into perspective, "I could believe that my mistakes // Will follow me down into the grave // But I'm not who I was....
