More often than not, we tend to neglect his love because when times are good, we feel like we are on top of our own world, self-absorbed by our own abilities to get through life. But when we are dealt with a tough hand, we'd often easily lose hope and succumb to our weakness and self-doubt. But when in fact, in our triumphs and trials, whether which seasons we are in, God has always been a constant presence in our lives. He celebrates with us during our times of joy, and also commiserates with us during our times of sorrow. It's his love that blesses us with good tidings, and it is his love that lifts us up when we feel like losing hope. 

Aptly titled "beauty and love", the song delivers the themes succinctly, and offers a promise that God will never forsake us. And the chill nature of the song offers an extra comfort as we try to soak in the words of the song, with perfectly timed musical dynamics that make this song stand out. Truly a soul-stirring modern CCM song that is worth listening to.

"King Of All Nations" by Ezra Worship Initiative: Sing Today What Heaven Will Sing Forever

Your worship today echoes eternity. Ezra Worship Initiative trains young worship leaders through a ten-week, seminary-based internship. Their songwriters learn Scripture first and melody second. You can hear this in their latest release, “King Of All Nations,” a song written for congregations to sing. "No Other Name" by Joakim Arenius and Josef Tingbratt: Hope That Outlasts the Darkness

Darkness grips hard, but one name holds harder. Where do you turn when your strength runs out? Josef Tingbratt and Joakim Arenius wrote “No Other Name” for that moment. Their song follows a man who is “Restless weary and alone,” “So many miles from home.” Inner voices that treat him unkindly. Then a night raid brings brutal violence: “They tried to break his body down, but they could not break his crown.” Notice what he does when “darkness gets its grip.” He calls Jesus: “Jesus, Jesus hear my cry.” No fancy words, just a cry.
