God feeds the sparrows. Will He forget you?
(by Jasper Tan) “No Worries” by Keara is an uplifting, faith-inspiring song that focuses on finding peace and freedom from anxiety by turning to the Lord and trusting him to bring grace and relief to us. The song brings a reflective and natural imagery to establish a sense of being grounded before we are built into a more impassioned chorus. This subtle and atmospheric approach allows the lyrics to take center stage, reminding us that ultimately it is through God’s provision and divine grace that frees us from our worldly worries and cares.
Drawing inspiration from Matthew 6:26, where it says — “Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them,” the song illustrates the idea that as God provides and takes care of the nature that surrounds us, we should also learn to trust God that we will be cared for as well. All we need to do is to surrender our worries and anxieties to him, and he will provide us with the grace that we need to be freed.
The song’s message of rejection of “walking in this anxiety” (0:47–0:50, 1:35–1:38), though it is fine to acknowledge the tendency to worry, it is eventually our decision to “fall into [His] grace” (0:50–0:53, 1:42–1:45), which shall set us free. Through the words “clothes on my back” and being a “work of art” (1:04–1:11), we are reminded that we should always look at ourselves with gratitude. Especially if we have a very strong faith in God that makes us realize our self-worth amidst the outside noise.
“Storms will come” (1:11–1:16), but we are able to “walk out on the waves” (1:18–1:21) because of our faith in God. Peace will ultimately be achieved when we learn to navigate life living in faith.

Background:
Inspired by Matthew 6:28–30, this song is a reminder to trust God’s faithful provision instead of giving in to anxiety. Jesus points to the birds and the flowers as evidence of the Father’s care, and the message of this song is simple: if God faithfully cares for His creation, how much more will He care for His children?
I wrote “No Worries” to encourage both myself and anyone walking through seasons of fear, uncertainty, or stress to rest in God’s promises. My hope is that listeners walk away with renewed peace and confidence that God is always faithful to provide.
