Thank you for listening to my music. It’s not easy to be an independent artist. It’s expensive and the return on investment tends to come very slowly. However, the most important lesson I’ve learned since releasing my own music is to have faith, take courage, and be consistent. 

 HAVE FAITH that Jesus will walk with you through life. He cares and he loves you.

 TAKE COURAGE and go after his plan for your life. His presence doesn’t promise ease, but he is faithful. Take courage.

 BE CONSISTENT, because it’s easier to quit.

 Now, go forth and listen!

 Be ushered into thoughts of Jesus, deeper things, higher things, good things.

Marlee Smith’s energetic pop-rock song, “Faith Like Daniel,” comes with an all-teenage female band behind her, and her response to what the world says is anything but timid. "You Know That I Love You" by David Bollmann: Love That Answers Failure with Mercy

Jesus meets your failure with mercy, not rejection. Peter once promised that he’d never leave. And before a rooster crowed, he’d denied Jesus three times. Have you ever failed at the very thing you swore you’d never fail at? David Bollmann’s third single, “You Know That I Love You”, begins with a promise much like Peter’s: “Others may deny You, I won’t.” The song draws on John 21, where the risen Jesus meets Peter on a beach. He doesn’t scold Peter. He asks him one question, three times over, and Peter, hurt but honest, answers: “Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you.” Peter brings no excuses and no résumé. Only his (imperfect) love, offered with empty hands.
