Kbreaz1 - He'll Make it Right

It's funky, it's gospel, it's Kbreaz1! Kbreaz1dropped a track called "He'll Make it Right", and the melody takes me right back to memories the 70's.
The lyrics are so appropriate for today's world, and such an encouragement to place your trust in Jesus.

Lyrics

Lift up your head, it will be alright
Everything will work out fine, 'cause I know
There is someone on your side who can sure make it right
When you've done, all that you can
Just take hold to his hand, and be strong
And, you can rest assured that before too long he'll make it right.
Jesus, he'll make it right
Jesus, he'll make it right
Jesus, he'll make it right
When the problems of this world get you discouraged
No time for solutions, everybody's in a hurry,
You try to hold on to, the things you know are right
Just can't find no peace, morning, noon or night.
Keep looking up, to where you help comes from
Keep up the faith cause he's the only one
Who can make it right, give you peace all through the night
And when the morning comes, the victory is won.
Jesus, he'll make it right
Jesus, he'll make it right
Jesus, he'll make it right

"Sunlight (Storge)" by Chelsea Chaisson: Reminisce the Simpler Times

(by Jasper Tan) Feel good, light-hearted, easy listening track. That's how I find Chelsea Chaisson's new single called "Sunlight (Storge)." I was kind of curious what the word "Storge" means, so I had to look it up. According to Wikipedia, "Storge is a Greek word that refers to natural, familial affection or love, particularly the bond between parents and children, as well as among family members and close friends. It is characterized by familiarity, dependence, and loyalty, often rooted in kinship bonds and shared experiences." Sounds very familiar? Of course, it should be, because as per the description, it actually describes what Christian love is. Or should I say how God loves us as His children? Chelsea was inspired to write this song by reminiscing about her childhood, marked by simpler times spent with her cousins and their grandma.  Countless times, we always heard the saying that we all should have faith like a child. The reason for that i...

"Jesus Is His Name" by Aaron Goodhew: The Name That Changes Everything

“Jesus Is His Name” by Aaron Goodhew is a song written as a Christ-centred declaration of who God is and what He has done. The song begins by asking, “Who designed creation and called it into being?” and quickly answers by pointing our eyes “high above the heavens” and leading us to the very place “where he rests his feet.” In other words, this is worship from creation to restoration. Each verse walks through different parts of Christ’s work: parting waters, calming storms, healing lepers, restoring outcasts, setting captives free. The chorus invites the church to confess together: "He is the Lord God // Lifted up // Mighty to be praised // Sovereign King of kings // Name above all names." But most of all, He is the personal Savior “The one who paid our ransom // The one who saved a wretch like me.” The bridge crowns this declaration, calling Jesus “wonderful counsellor, mighty king and friend,” the Lion and the Lamb whose glory we cannot fully comprehend. A declaration...

"Temptation" by Dax: Fighting Spiritual Warfare Through Faith and Prayer

Have you ever felt like the battle against temptation is relentless? In his powerful track "Temptation," Dax reminds us that every moment of resistance is a victory. He doesn't shy away from the reality that "temptations outside, knocking at my door." Instead of hiding the struggle, he exposes it. He admits that while he "won the battle last night," the war continues. In other words, spiritual discipline is a daily choice. Dax explains that temptation finds safety in an "idle mind" and when we lack purpose. But most of all, he offers a strategy for triumph: "starve my flesh, then feed my spirit with faith." So, why trade your peace of mind for fleeting pleasure? The lyrics trace our struggles back to the garden and "Adam and Eve," and also point us toward redemption.  "Down by the Riverbend // in the garden, where the snake tempted Adam and Eve, // they ate the fruit and from those seeds // grew the roots of this ...
