'Champions' by Ben Buhler: Embrace the Triumph of Faith

Ben Buhler's 'Champions' is a powerful declaration that God is always present, even during our toughest battles. The lyrics are all about recognizing that we're not just struggling to survive the situation, it's more! With God by our side, we overcome darkness and sin as champions! Ben Buhler sings, 'I'm not alone / Comforter, counselor, I'm yours to hold,' reminding you that whatever you're up against, you don't need to face it on your own. As one of His, He's got your back. He holds you upright and steps in (where needed) to fight your battle.

Ben Buhler - ChampionsSure, situations can present themselves as daunting challenges, where you feel like it's do or die. 'Champions' reminds you, 'God, you're always there; help me fight this fight.' That's the divine support we He promises us, and it's as present as the air you breathe. The song looks beyond God fighting your battles; it's celebrating that the triumph is already sealed, victory already won. 'With you by my side, we are champions / Already won the war' - this is your rallying cry!

Listen to 'Champions' when the 'night' seems too dark, or your path too winding. May Buhler's words, 'The devil ain't got no chance no more,' echo in your head and fill your heart. With God by your side, you will find strength, not just to face your fears but to conquer them. You're more than a conqueror; with God, you're a champion!

"The Bottom of Myself" by Mike Janzen: Grace at Rock Bottom

"The Bottom of Myself" by Mike Janzen is a spiritual journey with an Americana-pop groove. The song invites you into a space where the dark moments of life meet light.  Have you ever felt as if you were lost in a desert storm? Then you're not alone. Janzen also knows that feeling. He beautifully captures the struggle of losing your way with the following lyrics: "Fell down in the middle of the darkness // Woke up and the world had changed // Stumbling, squinting in the daylight // Wanna run but sometimes you gotta wait." But there is more, because Janzen shows that there is hope.  Instead of running away from the pain, Janzen sings: "sometimes you gotta wait." Why? Because at the end of yourself is God. Your weakness is where His strength begins. "When the clocks tickin twelve it's true // At the bottom of myself is You," this is where truth emerges. You might be trying to find your way home, but real peace comes when you stop striving...
