A new rendition of a song that Avery first introduced at a 1993 youth rally on a humble blue cassette tape (!) with the lyrics that focus on Jesus' innocence, His willingness to suffer, and the mystery of a love that is beyond anything we are able to comprehend. Instead of dwelling only on the sorrow, Avery points us to the hope that His tears have made possible. God’s mercies are new every morning — do you notice? “Great Is Thy Faithfulness” by Gethsemane Instrumental is one of the tracks in John Long’s upcoming instrumental project.
