'You Are (Live)' by Rivers Crossing Worship: A Song of Identity, Truth, and Unfettered Love

There is a path to faith that often mirrors our daily struggles—an uphill battle, a torrent of doubts, a complete roadblock. However, we find breakthroughs through patience and persistence, similar to the story behind Rivers Crossing Worship's uplifting song, 'You Are.' Born from a songwriting impasse, it found its purpose and phrasing six months later, expressing the eternal story of Jesus in timeless melodies. It grew from doubt to become a definitive anthem of faith, proving that divinely inspired patience often yields life-changing revelations.

Rivers Crossing Worship - You Are (Live)Here is a song that resonates with the promise of God's invincible love while affirming Jesus' identity and forever connecting it to ours. During life's storms, we are reminded that we are who Jesus says we are. Unconditionally loved. Forever forgiven. God's children.

The song, like the beginning of time when darkness yielded to God's command, kindles the light of revelation within us. It echoes with the powerful reminder that our Savior, who appeared to have been 'lifted up and left for dead upon a cross,' rose from the grave, leaving sin and stone behind. So, no matter how far we have fallen into despair, we can find comfort in this reassurance.

Allow the deeply moving lyrics of 'You Are' to enter into your heartbeat, breathing new life into your faith journey. This song, adorned with heavenly messages and melodies, strengthens the bridge between earthly trials and heavenly faith, providing comfort, hope, and a reminder of God's incomprehensible divine love for us.

"In Awe of You" by True Vine: Let the Heavens Teach You to Worship

When did you last stop and remember who God is? Life moves fast, doesn’t it? Bills pile up, seasons shift, and our attention drifts toward whatever crisis is loudest that day. True Vine wrote “In Awe of You” to interrupt that drift. The song pulls our eyes off our circumstances and points them back to God Himself — not what He’s done for us lately, but who He simply is. Drawing from the names Scripture gives Him — Elohim, Adonai, El Shaddai, the Great I Am — the lyrics declare, “Who compares to You?” That’s not a rhetorical flourish. It’s an honest question worth sitting with. Think about the weight in a name like El Shaddai, God Almighty, or Adonai, Lord and Master. These aren’t titles pulled from nowhere. Each of His names is a testimony. Testimonies by people who have witnessed how He provided, protected, and stayed faithful when nothing else proved to be steady. The lyrics call Him “Faithful and True,” and the bridge declares: “The heavens are roaring, declaring Your glory.” This...

"I Love to Praise Your Name" by Chrystal: Worship That Survives the Storm

A declaration of consistent devotion and faithfulness to God (by Jasper Tan) Chrystal Williams-Alberty’s “I Love to Praise Your Name” is a beautiful and heartfelt contemporary praise and worship song. The song focuses on our devotion and adoration to our God. The lyrics are simple but deep in expression. Reminding us that to worship God is a lifelong commitment, and we should always give our gratitude and faithfulness to our loving God. The song shares a message that is similar to Psalm 34:1 —  “I will bless the LORD at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth.” Chrystal came up with the song from her own personal experiences where she wants to praise God even in her most difficult times. This shows us that praising God isn’t just when things are going our way, but even in the most trying times; our devotion and faithfulness to him must remain constant. This is what makes this song beautiful because it came from a place of sincerity and raw honesty. Chrystal shows her unw...

"Great Is Thy Faithfulness" by Gethsemane Instrumental: Finding Steady Ground in the Storm

God’s mercies are new every morning — do you notice? “Great Is Thy Faithfulness” by Gethsemane Instrumental is one of the tracks in John Long’s upcoming instrumental project. Gethsemane Instrumental is a space for prayer, a quiet room where listeners can sit with Jesus without distraction. Hardships visited John more than once. He also went through Ministry seasons that tested him in ways that could have hollowed him out. But something kept pulling John back to the same conviction: “He is faithful.” Not faithful when convenient. Not faithful in the easy seasons only. Faithful “through every storm,” standing “unmoved and unwavering” while everything around him shifted. “Great Is Thy Faithfulness” is the first single off John’s upcoming Hymns Devotional Vol. 2 project. This song has been a staple song for him throughout his entire walk with Jesus.  That kind of steadiness isn’t new. Thomas Chisholm penned the original song in 1923, sitting in Baldwin City, Kansas, worn down by frai...
